What We Believe

Hope Church  is joining God in bringing Heaven here.   We're all imperfect people coming together  to better understand God and His love for us. Together, we're trying to impact our community and make it the best we possibly can.  Join us for our Sunday services at 10am!

What time is your service?
Our services begin at 10am on Sundays and last between 60-75 minutes.
Where should I park? And where is the main entrance?
You can pull into our driveway either off of Mercury or Groesbeck Drive.  There is guest parking clearly marked out.  Please feel free to park there if it's available.  And the main entrance is located right off the parking lot.  
What should I wear?
Wear what is comfortable.  People will be dressed all differently.  Pastor Tim will typically wear khakis and a business casual shirt.  But please, be comfortable.  
Is there coffee?
Absolutely!  Grab a cup of coffee, hot chocolate, or tea and bring it on in to the worship center, which is immediately to your right after you enter the building.  
What happens during a typical service?
The service will usually begin with someone greeting everyone and a prayer.  We will then sing a few songs led by a worship team.  Following that we will pray and dismiss the kids up to 4th grade to go to their own worship service (You can check your kids in before the service).  Then Pastor Tim will teach on a Bible passage for about 25-30 minutes.  You are welcome to bring your own Bible, take one from the racks in the room, or download the Bible app.
Will I be expected to give money?
We do not expect guests to give financially.  We do believe that giving is an opportunity for us to worship and give back to God.  It's a way that we can join God in bringing Heaven to our community.  Hope Church uses the funds to provide the ministry services for the church but also to meet the needs of those in our community.  Hope Church is able to help provide rent and mortgage assistance through Love in Action.  Hope also provides gas cards to those in need.  And twice a month Hope is able to provide diapers to those in the community through the generosity of giving.

What's your spiritual activity like?

Similar to our need for physical activity to encourage our physical health, we have to maintain spiritual activity to be spiritually healthy.  At Hope we believe this extends to three distinct areas - activity with the world, with church, and with God. You can find ways to "fill your circles" by clicking an area you want to be more active in and exploring the opportunities present there.
